Natixis collected 3 trophies for Europe and Africa at the IJ* Global Awards ceremony celebrated on March 7 at the Natural History Museum of London.
We were awarded the Africa Midstream Oil & Gas Deal of the Year – Coral FLNG, the Europe Environment Deal of the Year – Gipuzkoa Environmental Complex and the Africa Upstream Oil & Gas Deal of the Year – Vitol Sankofa OCTP.
After the successful harvest at the PFI Awards ceremony in February, these new awards illustrate the market recognition for Natixis expertise in the infrastructure financing on a global basis.

Natixis collected two trophies at the IJ Global Awards ceremony celebrated on March 14th in New York. We were awarded Latin America Power deal of the year and the Overall Latin America deal of the year thanks to our Coordinating Lead Arranger role in Norte III CCGT in Mexico. These awards further reinforce Natixis market recognition to structure complex and landmark transactions in Latin America.
Natixis’ expertise in infrastructure finance and renewable energy was brought to the fore at the 4th Annual Asia-Pacific Energy & Infrastructure Finance Forum, with Natixis demonstrating its leadership in infrastructure finance and walking away with two awards:
- 2017 APAC “Downstream Oil & Gas Deal of the Year” for the Pengerang Oil Storage Facility transaction (GIP SGP)
- 2017 APAC “Telecom Deal of the Year” for Airtrunk Datacentre (GIP Australia). It is the third consecutive year that GIP Australia has won this award, attesting to the leadership of Natixis in the telecom infrastructure space in Asia.
Infrastructure Finance META is glad to announce that Natixis has won 2 MENA awards at the IJGlobal Awards 2017. The award ceremony for the MENA region was held last week in Dubai and was attended by more than 150 professionals from the infrastructure industry, including our core clients active in the Middle East, Turkey and Africa.
The following transactions closed by Real Assets and ENR in 2017 were awarded during the ceremony:
• Sweihan Solar PV IPP (UAE): MENA Solar deal of the year; and
• KNPC Clean Fuels (Kuwait): MENA Downstream Oil & Gas deal of the year.
These 2 awards come in addition to the Africa Midstream Oil & Gas deal of the year for Coral FLNG.
In 2017, Natixis has achieved a number of very visible successes in infrastructure finance for the Middle East and Africa, and these well-deserved awards embody the excellent collaboration between Natixis’ various teams across several business lines and geographies.
