Natixis center stage at TMT conference
Widespread recognition of Natixis’ telecom financing expertise at regional industry event
The TMT Finance Asia conference is an annual event held in Singapore for key regional players in the TMT (technology, media and telecom) industries.
The 2017 event took place in mid-February and Bertrand Guiot, Head of Global Infrastructure & Projects, Australia, once again represented Natixis at the conference, participating in a panel discussion on subsea cable and satellite financing.
He said that Natixis was mentioned during numerous presentations throughout the day as being at the forefront of telecom infrastructure financing.
“Our success in subsea cable and datacenter transactions was particularly noted” said Bertrand. “Many players recognized that financings are complex, with only a small pool of equity investors available, and that only one bank is consistent in its approach to the market; Natixis.”
“Our specialized approach is clearly paying off, and is allowing us to stay ahead of the crowd in our focus sectors. That being said, our peers see what we are doing, and we should be prepared for tougher competition down the road.”
