Natixis sponsored the 2018 Latin American Energy and Infrastructure Conference in Miami. The event is the reference forum in the region for infrastructure finance and was very well attended by main players in the region (+400 attendees). Aitor Alava (Managing Director, Head of Infrastructure Finance Latin America) participated in a panel that discussed different financing alternatives in the region. Natixis’ Infrastructure Debt Platform with institutional investors was presented and gathered a lot of interest from audience. Gregoire Moriani (Director, Infrastructure Finance Latin American) joined Macquarie and Techint for a monografic panel on Norte III, a 900 MW CCGT power plant in Mexico, for which Natixis acted as Coordinated Lead Arranger and that was awarded the 2017 Latin American Power Deal of the Year by IJ Global.
